Tullet was converted from the old stables is built of cotswold stone with a cotswold stone tiled roof. Like The Loft, which is also part of the old barn, Tullet has free wifi. Guests staying at Tullet cottage are encouraged to feed the hens. We have 5 beautiful Burford Brown hens that like to cluck around the farmyard and we supply some corn for you to feed them. Their eggs, sold by Clarence Court, have a lovely hard, glossy deep brown shell with a dense yellow yolk.
The accommodation is split over two floors, with bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor. The heart of the cottage is the quarry tiled kitchen with herbs in planters at the windows. The log fire makes an attractive focus to the sitting room.
Tullet cottage has the added advantage of being close to the garden sun terrace with outstanding views across the Golden Valley, the perfect place to enjoy the evening light. You will also find an earth oven here for all to use either to warm a chilly evening or to bake bread, pizzas or whatever your imagination comes up with.
Open all year. Weekly bookings only (Friday to Friday) in the summer. Short breaks and long lets in the winter
