At the very end of the winding farm track, on the edge of a meadow under spreading oak and ash trees, Jackdaw cottage, with its own wood-fired hot tub, is the ultimate romantic hideaway.
Ringed by a traditional Cotswold dry-stone wall, you enter Jackdaw through a stable door. Once inside you will find a cosy world of sheepskin rugs, wall hangings, throws and rugs drawing inspiration from North African and Native American weaving, Mexican crafts and much more. A wood-burning stove keeps everything snug.
Once you’re here, you won’t want to leave, but if you do, you have a private walled garden, the meadow spreading before you, the woodland stretching along the valley, and stupendous views to the hillside villages in the distance.
