Zen Den

Declutter your body and soul in the sublime space of the Zen Den. A unique cedar cabin in the woods, the Zen Den offers peace, harmony and a touch of the kookiness we like so much. We took a dollop of Zen simplicity and added equal parts designer chic and hippie woodland vibe.

The result is a space like no other, an octagonal zone for freeing the mind, unchaining the spirit and sipping an exotic cocktail while relaxing in the Ofuro hot tub beneath the stars. Zen Den is a favourite with honeymooners, mini-mooners and couples just seeking a slice of Zen tranquility.

With windows on seven of its eight sides the Zen Den offers views around the clock, a chance to watch the surrounding woodland, to follow the light. But it isn’t all stripped back minimalism: there’s a wood-burning stove to keep you cosy, a giant bean bag to crash out on and a supremely comfortable floating bed, with freshly-pressed Egyptian cotton bedding.

The ensuite toilet and hot shower are on the enclosed deck just outside the door, where you will also find the fully-equipped  camp kitchen. Next to the cabin, set in the woodland glade, is the Ofuro soaking tub, an exquisite piece of traditional Japanese design given a contemporary tweak by some serious dudes in California. Unlike more conventional hot tubs, the Ofuro is square, crafted in teak and heated by its own wood-burning stove.
